| What an ordeal tonight...... Oh My..tonight I gave the dogs a bath. I was drying Bogus and I had just finished with little Maggie...I heard a thud on the floor.looked over at Maggie and I could only see her head and she fell into the floor vent for the heat and air....We just moved into our apt. over our business and they aren't covered yet with metal vents..I had a slipper jammed it it and a box on top of it and they nudged it off and got out the slipper in a flash, and she was gone!!! I lost my mind ... I called 911 because hubby is oot tonight and I couldn't think...a wonderful officer came and the next door neighbor and we had to take out insulation, floor tiles and disconnect the vent system...she wouldn't make a sound for and hour and a half!! All I could think of was the worst...we finally pulled the floor vent away from the floor in one area and shined the flash light in and there she was..shaking about 5 feet in ....I am soooo mad at myself for thinking they wouldn't get in the vents with them covered!! They are like little Gremlins...what one doesn't think of the other does!!! I will be calling the heat and air contractors in the morning to come and finish the work!!! But all 5 are safe and sound now laying in bed sound asleep!! Except for the 3 1/2 week old one, he's growling at nothing Just wanted to share with everyone..I don't know what I would do if anything happened to one of these babies.....

| Well that is certainly the number one freak accident in the world! I can't even imagine your fright. That sounds like a good one for the animal planet show. Glad all is well. You are so right about them being fast and clever. I was on line last night, and my husband went to bed. He forgot to put away a bowl of very spicy chicken dip ( jalopeno and cheese). It was on a tv stand next to the couch. I looked into the den, and saw Sawyer standing on the tv tray, with his face hair full of dip!! After I rescued him from the tray, and cleaned his face, I woke my dear husband up and told him if my dog got sick, or had the runs, it was all his!! Fortunetly Sawyer has a cast iron stomach, he was fine. Well I guess we all have our near misses with these little Houdinis, so glad yours ( and mine) had happy endings.

| Yes, I did feel sick and am just now settleing down....Thanks everyone for your support. They are so very quick to get into dangerous sitations...I have definately rekindled my "overprotective" mode after this one....Taking chances just isn't worth a negative outcome, luckily we escaped a neg. outcome, but gosh......

| gee I am glad to hear you survived the ordeal, those are scary times, but you had the sense to call for help right away....it is so stressful to be in these situations when we love our babies so much... hope things are settling down for you... |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Glad to hear that everything is OK. These incidents are proof that they really are kids with fur. My friends with kids have since to be amazed at just how quickly their skin kids can find things to get into! |

| Glad to know your baby is okay..i had a similar experience at a clients business one evening and had Nathan with me and took him outside to use the potty and I didn't see the water drain and Nathans foot went in it and I ran like crazy to get him out as I did not want him to try to pull it out and break a leg..he is only 4 lbs...Whew that was a close call and its those little things we have to watch out for and I am so glad your baby is safe cause i know the feeling!!!

| They are something...if there is trouble to find, they will find it. I'm so glad she is okay. I turned away for two seconds tonight and Gus was on the coffee table eating the baby's ice cream. Luckily, it was plain vanilla.
