| Its usually the owner of the stud that has the breeding contract, not the bitch. Usually the contract goes something like this: My stud dog so in so, AKC#___, bred female so in so, AKC #___ on ___date, date, and date, due to deliver on this date. Both parties have agreed on $$$ stud fee or pick of litter.(circle one) the stud owner must be notifies if said bitch is not in whelp 2 weeks before delivery date in order to get a repeat breeding if she is not in whelp. there can be certain stipulations to the contract also: All pups must be sold on AKC limited registration, Bitch must be up to date on all shots and have a current negitive brucellosis test, all travel expences are at bitch owner expence, papers will not be signed until stud fee is paid in full, etc. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I have potential buyers fill out the following application and based on it I decide if I will allow them to see the puppies and have a one hour visit to determine if one of my kids are available to them. I hope this helps. Yorkshire terrier Application In order for us to evaluate whether a Yorkshire terrier would fit your lifestyle we would like to ask a few questions about your living situation. Please answer all the questions to the best of your knowledge. None of the questions would disqualify you from purchasing a puppy. Name:_____________________________________________ _ Address:__________________________________________ __ Residents in your home: Include all adults and children with ages of children: __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ________________________________________________ Why do you want a Yorkie? Have you ever owned a small dog as a puppy? Do you rent or own? If you rent or lease has your landlord approved of a pet? Is it an apartment, condo or house? Do you have a Yard? Do you have other pets? Who will be the main caretaker of the puppy? How long will the puppy be left alone during the day? Have you owed pets before? What type? Do you currently have a Vet? Do you have a groomer or plan on getting one? Have you ever given away an animal or taken it to a shelter? If so why? Are you aware of the expense in owning a dog? Do you plan on providing Dental care for your dog? Do you plan on going to a training class? Will your puppy be an indoor or outdoor dog? Do you plan on using a crate? If so why or why not? What do you plan on doing with your puppy if you go on vacation? What will happen if you have to move? A dog can easily live up to 16 years and it is important to be able to commit to this time frame, is this possible for you? Would you be willing to provide updates on the puppies well being?
