| This happen to anyone? My little Snoodles who is now 3 years old had some kind of brain trauma. I took her to the vet, but they didn't know what it was except it came from the brain. They put her on Prednizone to which she became worse. I put her on 1/4 aspirin and she did a lot better. She was banging her head terrible--couldn't sleep even because of it. She spins in circles, gets disoriented, legs cross , etc. I am so worried about her. This has been going on since Sept. When she eats, she can't eat from the left side of mouth. I am sooooo sad and she is sooo young. Dr. says to keep her on the aspirin for the rest of her life because she can function some at least. I am just hoping that over time she will get better. Has anyone had an experience like this? Thanks in advance! Pat |

| That sounds horrible for her.... I'd get a second opinion, it sounds like a stroke to me too.

| I'd definetly get a second opinion on that one. It doesn't sound good at all.

| I think you need to take her to a neurologist so you can get a diagnosis and treatment plan. It sounds like her condition is more than your regular vet is prepared to handle. |

| this was what I got back from the vet in California First of all, dogs really don't have cerebral vascular accidents (strokes) per say like we do. It is a rare occurance, but usually if it does happen, it is in older animals. I am sorry that I didn't have more info to really make a better "guess".... Was any labwork done? She sounds like she has something else going on in all honesty. I would refer her to a neurologist for sure. Bloodwork would perhaps be helpful but an MRI would be most helpful |

| Oh poor Snoodles and poor you! Sugar had a concussion this weekend so reading this post is so scary. I hope you are able to find a neurologist is your area. Big hugs to you and Snoodles!

| Could you tell us a little bit more about her? What do you mean by "banging her head"? Legs Crossed? Does she get shaky/tremors?
