| Maybe TMIm my dog pooped in my car, leather seat, how to clean? Yorkie talkers seem to know everything, so Im putting aside my embarrasment and asking this. I was taking my 3 to the groomer today and my Maltese is scared to death and on the way, she pooped (loose stool) on my front passenger seat. I have leather seats with the little tiny holes in them and the poop seeped into the seat. I immediately cleaned it up but I can still see the brown underneath the little holes in the seat. I have tried several home cleaners, but am trying to be careful as my car seats are heated and im not sure it the liquid from the cleaner will hurt them. I sprayed several times but you can still see the poo and when you get near you can smell it. I can only imagine how it will stink after a few days. I am freaking out here...this car is only a year old and I have no idea what to do. Any help I would appreciate. Laura |

| Get some baby oil and wipe it down with it. It'll clean it right up.

| ask your car dealership if they have experience cleaning stains on leather seats , if they say no ... YOUR SCREWED!...no just KIDDING! If the leather is a sealed leather, meaning it has sprayed on finish (leather will look shiny ) then just keep sponging with mild detergent (there are special cleaners that furniture stores sell just for leather sofas and chairs or the car dealership may carry leather cleaners) If the leather is an analine leather it has little to no finish on it (it may have a wax finish ) this type of leather has a very soft feel and a dull finish. This type of leather needs a proper leather cleaner and is a little harder to clean (it also stains easier) the good news with this type of leather is the natural oils in the leather push the stains and odor up to the surface so with repeated cleaning the stain and odor come out. But I would take the car into your dealership first and let them have a look Hope this helps Eileen |

| If it were me I'd take some cleaner, put it on Q-Tips and clean in each hole... That way it gets the inside of the holes without "drowning" the inside of the seat.
