| just curious This is not a problem I am having. I was just curious if any one else needs to take their yorkie out to potty as often as I do. Ahia is pretty much trained now. She is good at letting me know when she needs to go out. We take our walk in the morning as soon as they can get me up to throw something descent on for public appearance (7-7:30 a.m.) Like an alarm clock. Buckeye wants to sleep more and Ahia plays a little bit then wants back out again after about 15 minutes. pees immidately and comes back in and needs to go again in another 15 minutes or so. she does this for about an hour every morning. Then tapers off.

| I'm in the process of potty training Hercules (he's almost 4 months) and he acts similar in the morning too. I'll immediately take him outside and he'll go # 1. Then I'll go inside and play with him for a few minutes, not more than 5 minutes usually, and then he'll go towards the door. I take him outside and he goes # 2. I think with Hercules it's because he's so excited in the morning to see me that it takes him a little while to calm down and allow himself to go # 2. Maybe they are just really excited to see you, so they don't want to waste their time going to the bathroom! |
