| Hello Everyone! I've been to depressed to post. My husband made me give my little Dusty back to his first mommy. I couldnt get him house broke, I tried sooo hard but he was very stuburn in where he wanted to go potty. It has been like losing a child, I miss him so very bad. I told my husband the other day that as soon as my human little girl was old enough not to kill it that I would have another one. Ashton is going through a roudy stage and she dont remember how to be easy with the little babies. I'm going to try and wait about a year and then try and find a little girl. I want a little 3 & 1/2 to 4 pound little girl if any one out there breeds this size let me know. My first little girl had a wire coat and Dusty had a cotten coat. I would like the next one to have the true silky coat. I miss being a yorkie mommy.

| I'm sorry that you had to give him back. I wouldn't get another one so soon though. Actually, I would wait until your husband has a change of heart and can tolerate potty in the house. Yorkies are notorious for it and quite a few of them are hard to train, so you will probably have the same problem again...

| Iam sorry things didnt work out, was it because of the pottie training, or your daughter being so young? my daughter just got her first yorkie and her son is almost 2, he is adjusting well, he has been rasied around mine, so that helped.

| He was 8 months old. I had him for 8 months. He was so good about going to the door when he needed out but he would still come back in and potty. He really like to mark my little girl's toy's. That got very expensive. Someone told me that it was because he was possesive, I dont know. I cleaned up more than my husband knew but he would still find somewhere that I missed.

| Our stud max is trained to go out but he'll mark spots in the house if he can. So we put a diaper on him at all times. Our girls are house trained .... for the most part. Sometimes they have an accident but its rather rare. Most of our puppies are wee pad trained. We train them almost as soon as they start to go on their own. It helps their new owners in that they are about 90 percent house trained. In fact Brydei is now two years old and she will still use the wee pad 99 percent of the time (if she needs to go and we aren't home to put her out). Sorry to hear your husband is standing firm. I am "the husband" but I love my babies and wouldn't give them up for anything. I have to admit, I wasn't thrilled that Samantha would go in the house when we first got her but she has gotten better. As everyone else has said, Yorkies can be very difficult to house train. Good luck getting another in the future. I could only imagine how difficult it would be to give one of my babies up. | He was with you for 8 months so I know the loss was heartbreaking, sorry to hear about it. Yorkie boys are really known for marking inside their homes. |
