| AM I CRAZY or DO I WORRY TOO MUCH Here in Philadelphia where they dont care about killing anyone. They just shot two cops tonight that are in good condition (Thank God) . This is the 5the police shooting in less than 3 weeks. My area and my mom's is pretty safe. We just had a neighborhood meeting with the local police district and all. All the lil girls love Roxy. They used to ask isn't that an expensive dog? Now they are telling me that one lil girl said she is getting one too. Roxy is the most popular dog in the neighborhood. Kids that dont even know my name run up and know her name. About two months ago the lil girl would knock on the door for her. I worry about the holiday's coming who's parents promised then a yorkie. Should I worry? Roxy is never left in the back yard alone and always on the lease there. AM I CRAZY?

| I would be cautious about leaving her by herself in the back yard. It gets really crazy during the holidays no matter where you live. I think it smart of you to be careful. |

| I don't think you are crazy. Can never be too protective. Don't let her out of your sight.

| No.....you are quite right ! Here in Scotland we had virtually no violence like you describe...but in the last 5 years thanks to the POLITICAL LOT we have been innundated with scum seeking assylum from abroad.....not the good nice people unfortunately. Now we are getting crime and guns coming in where there was none before...all because the local authorities insist on making these people welcome and building them houses,(new towns !) schools, us paying for their free health care, giving them jobs over our own youth, and opening up our narrow roads into motorways..through the highlands....recking our scenery and driving our youth away as they don't get priority housing or anything anymore. We pay for it all through our high taxes. Motto - Come to Scotland - you will get everything for free - and we locals will pay for it ! I think it is known as "PROGRESS" or "MODERN DAY LIVING"....... Bring back the old days when we all could sleep with our doors unlocked and knowing that our kids and pets were safe to enjoy the freedom and idyllic beauty of Scotland...no drugs, crime, violence or attacks on woman. I think we all have to be so careful these days, wherever we are... |

| What section of Philly are you from...I lived there my whole life and just moved in July. I can't believe all of the police shootings that are going on. It's a shame. The cop that just got killed.... my son goes to the same high school as his son goes to. It's so sad!!! But back to your post...just keep an eye on her at all times. That's what my neighbor had told me when I lived in Philly. I didn't realize how much Yorkies are wanted. Pebbles is the first dog I ever owned and bought this breed just because they are so cute.I am addicted(to Pebbles and this message board). LOL.You definitely are not crazy!!! |

| I don't think you're worry to much, but try not to kill yourself worrying. Be sure to make sure locks are locked, windows are bolted, etc.- just to be on the safe side. Do you have to leave her alone a lot?

| I would never leave her alone in a yard. The other day I found a little girl 9 years old walking her little Spaniel, and I wondered how can parents let a child with a pup go for a walk like that. It was in NJ Fort Lee area but still. I would not do something like that. |
