| What in the world? Angel's pups are (as of tomorrow) 8 weeks old.............where does the time go??? Anywho, Bandit seems to be thining on top. I cant tell if his roots are white or he's really losing hair. My first thought is "well maybe he has blue in him somehow". What do you guys think? I wish I could post a pic but my kids broke my digital camera. I can put him on webcam if need be. If it is hair that's thinning, will it grow back or do I need to call the hair club for yorkies lol? Ill love him either way of course, just figured I would ask.

| You got some big babies on your hands..lol...You are a great mommy...and about the hair..when i got Maximus his hair looked a little funny on top but it was because it was growing in light..not it is just whitish with black mixed in..were any of the parents very light?...I think I read if they get lighter earlier there adult coat will also be light!!-

| Yeah I think that's my fault...............accidently. I just noticed that I grabbed the wrong puppy food. It's for LARGE breeds (im s abd mommy *cries*) I didnt notice until yesterday either and its been a week!!!!!!! Yes, angel is VERY VERY light. She has a LOT of tan on her. Most of her is tan. Id say 75% Here's a pic of her. It's not recent which sucks but it shows how much tan she had at this time........though she has even more now! http://www.geekydivadesigns.com/angel.jpg

| I thought the same too. Maggie's hair is what the breeder says "Breaking Color". She is now 4 months old and her hair on her head is more silver, than black. Her body color is now breaking, to a deep dark silver. Her groomer said she is going to be a beauty. I don't care what she looks like, as long as she healthy and happy.

| You know what this is really embarassing..but I did make Maximus' hair into a mohwak a few times so he didn't look bald ...lol..I can't believe I admitted that..lol

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Hey Heather - Cheri's hair did the SAME thing - I thought she was gonna be the first bald FEMALE yorkie I've ever seen - you could see her scalp when she's wet - and the roots got really light - Since Chanel didn't do that - I was shocked when I noticed it also... it was just her adult coat coming in and her hair lightening ...but it freaks you out when you first see it cause the term - "Male Pattern Baldness" comes to mind.... Maybe we our own 'Yorkie Hair Club' For Puppies... |
