Olivia Protesting Puppy Mills Last night, my bf and I took Olivia to Petsmart for some puppy stuff. She just got her last round of shots, so she hasn't gone anywhere public before. She was so nervous! I was looking for a carrier for her, but didn't like what they had. We decided to go to the other dog shop in the area- a "chain" dog store. I haven't been to this place in a while and forgot why I hated it. As soon as we got there, a girl was crying and holding a little min pin. wrapped in a towel. He apparently was sick and she was returning him. This is the 3rd encounter I've had with a dog bought from there being sick (and I'm sure there are many more.) This is a total puppy mill pet shop and as soon as I saw that I remembered why I didn't like the store. We looked at one thing and I looked down and Olivia had gotten sick all over! I'm sure it was the nerves, but my bf and I joked that Olivia gave them what they deserve for selling poor sick puppies! So, Olivia is doing her part to protest puppy mill pet shops- one vomit at a time!!

WAy to show em Olivia! Guess that store just made her 'sick' huh? Poor babies, that girl and that pup, kids and dogs - they don't have a say in their lives and have to take whatever they get. It's so sad, at least there are some people who care for them correctly and God bless the rest that don't have loving families. Windy and Lida Rose

| It really should be a Federal Law, banning puppy mills. Texas is a very big state, and the puppy mills are hidden really good. However. when they are found, the owners are usually heading for prison. We don't have a waiting line here in Texas for prison---we have an EXPRESS LANE. Like they say, "Don't Mess With Texas". Oh, that other store you mentioned (the one you didn't like), I too went to the same name store here in Texas. I will NEVER go back. It was fairly new and FILTHY. I wrote the company and they responded, but I really doubt anything was done. I held Maggie so close, I think the employees thought she was cold.

! Good job Olivia! I probably would have gotten sick too. I wanted to cry about the little girl with the sick puppy. I hope they got it treatment right away! Maybe we could have a "vomit puppymill protest"! You may have started something Olivia.

Go Olivia! lol, she's joining this Anti PuppyMillers, too! Maybe Fred can throw up next. But the thing is.. I love our PetsMarts and PetCos in Dallas! They don't sell anything but fishies and birds. Oh, and hamsters etc. No dogs or cats. I am not sure if they previously sold them and stopped or what. Thank goodness. PetCo doesn't sell them either.
