| Babybear you look fantastic. Maybe you should talk to the acupuncturist about what it might take for Babybear to go in the correct direction - will it be asking to much of him to accomplish that. What about a narrow sidewalk or path?

| In a narrow area he would have to try and move the front of his cart. He is not front strong he is back strong so I do not know how this will work. I really wish I could say it would work. I will give it a try and see. That is all I can do. If it works then Great Idea if it doesn't i am sure we will think of something else. I so wish he was food motivated. He is not even toy motivated. He is people motivated. And I do not always have people around. Maybe I should bring him to a mall outside mall and let him see people. They have sidewalks there.

| What if his front wheels were like on a shopping cart where they could go all the way around in circles. I dont know how to explain it very good, but it looks like he is not strong enough, but if the wheels turned freely in front maybe he could do it???

When he was swimming in the pool it was always to the left also. I will be talking to his Doc to see if we can do some acupuncture on the right side to make it work better. I know he tries hard my vet does to get him going. I am just hoping we dont just have a lefty here. but then again I am to thank my lucky stars i have Babybear at all.

| There has to be a way. Like maybe a caster on just one side, or a smaller wheel on one side? But which? We need an engineer or someone with more smarts than me He is doing so good. Just needs some fine tuning!

| I can do no adjustments or add ons on the cart if I do there goes the guarentee. And it is guarenteed for the life of the dog. So I can not add anything to it. ANd it was a very difficult cart to make that came from the maker. And he has made many. Because of Babybear's neck it was hard to do.

| Yay!!! Another Babybear progress page! Val! Look at the progress he has made in just 2 short weeks! I think it is nothing short of amazing. Way to go little guy! Now as for the turning problem; I've been giving that a thought. I know that when he walks, his front legs kind of cross over, so it would be very hard for him to achieve a change of direction using them. However, what if the front wheels were more like those on a skate board - they never actually turn, but are attached in such a way that weight or leaning, causes a change of direction?? So, if Babybear leaned slightly to the right, the cart would then turn in that direction? You would have to ask Eddie if this would be feasible. Just an idea mind you, I am not sure this would work. Also, it would not be effective if the wheels "swiveled" like those of a grocery cart, because Babybear is NOT capable of THAT degree of control, and it could cause him to either go in a circle, or make a very sudden change of direction that could hurt those fragile bones. Val, his video is just so very encouraging. I know that all this little guy needs is YOU. What you have done for him is nothing short of amazing. How's the sinus infection? Hope those meds banished it totally and that you had a great weekend. Big, big hugs, Lauren

And my meds are finally starting to work. They are causing a head ache but I can breath. I can bend down without my nose running. And I do not need a tissue in my hand 24/7. I actually slept through the night last night no waking to take benydril. I was thrilled until my husband woke me at 6:30 to tell me to get up so we could go say good bye to his parents before they left for Florida. Today was my day off. I was going to get some rest. I guess not.lol Big hugs to you Lauren.
