YT 1000 Club Member | Shipped from Brazil? Has anyone gotten a dog/puppy from Brazil recently (last few months to a year)? Can you share the steps you had to go through? What would I have to do? Would it be the same as if regular shipped from place in the US? Why I asked? I was offered a beautiful puppy from Brazil (4 months) but don't have any Idea about the airlines/flying (since my flight plans were always done by someone else). And I know that there are many pretty pups in the US, but I'm just asking! |

YT 1000 Club Member | The breeder that is offering her puppies have gorgeous dogs... A couple of Yters have gotten a baby from her but not recently. I think there may be some changes at the airlines and is trying to find out. If everything goes fine then I will try to get one of those babies. She has an unbelievable price (including shipping). |

| Hi, glad I was able to help and get the mix up corrected. When I picked Pia up at the airport there were a few things differen't I had to go through. I'm not sure if each airport has differen't rules but I had to go to a differen't place to pick up Pia since she was from another country. This place only deals with international things. Basically they had to double check shot records and a few other things to make sure everything was correct. When getting an animal from another contry differen't vaccines are needed. They look over things in much more detail when compared to picking up a baby that was shipped right here in the United States. If they find the slightest thing wrong they will hold the animal. I urge anyone thinking of getting an animal from another country to call and make sure each detail is gone over clearly. The last thing you want is to have a baby sent back or held some place. Good Luck to anyone thinking of doing this.

| Check with Orbitz and PriceLine.com to see if you can get an idea of what the price may be. If you know which airline you want to use call them, because sometimes they'll give you a good deal.
