| Try doing a search for 'cotton coat'. I just tried it and several threads came up. I hope this helps.

| I just had a battle with my groomer over this. Vinnie is 100% Cotton Coat. We use a buddy belt, which could mat any dog i'm sure, but can really mat the cotton coat. I just had Vinnie to the groomer on Saturday for a birthday cut and the woman, who is not the owner, I really like the owner, was so mean, just as she always is, questioning me about the buddy belt and if I leave it on all the time, which I don't, and then questioning me about a mat he had behind his ear, which was there two months ago when he last went and she missed, which I was quick to point out........long story short......after the woman got off her high and mighty pedastal....and I said listen, I use Paul Mitchell Puppy Shampoo have 2 brushes and a comb and groom him daily.....AND i've researched yorkies with Cotton Coats she had some friendly suggestions.......use leave in Conditioner, sometimes they use Johnson & Johnsons leave in detangler for human babies and they always use EMU oil, on every dog before they dry them. I've been searching for EMU oil ever since and can't find it and I started a post yesterday in the products section to get advice......Vinnie has been sick ever since he left there on saturday and i'm beginning to think the woman just terrorized the heck out of him.
