| I'm having the same problem, except mine only barks when I leave him (but it's still annoying!). I just posted on the general discussion board on barking. I've gotten advice in the past that included: putting 10 pennies in a coke can and shaking it every time he barked, and then praise him when he stops; spraying him with water in the face every time he barked, and then praise him when he stopped; cross my arms and put my head up looking away from him to show him that I am ignoring him when he barked, and then praise him when he stops. None of these worked for me, but other people seem to have luck with them. I've also read that citronella bark collars work, but I can't find any small enough for a yorkie puppy. Good luck! |

| Being Demanding! Hi, My little 1 year old yorkie will sit and bark at us when she wants us to play. She will come and bark if she has been a good girl and gone potty and wants her treat, and we don't mind that, but this barking at us like a petulant child that wants attention is annoying! Any ideas? Psych behind this? Thanks! |
