| Chewed hole in carpet! Well I live with my mom and this weekend I left her with Lucy and she chewed a hole in my mom's carpet. Its probably about a 3 x 5 inch hole. We sprayed Fooey spray so she won't keep chewing on it, but I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to patch the hole with a piece of extra carpet we have left from when the house was built 2 years ago. Or will the whole room have to be replaced? |

| Patching Holes If you have the exact same color carpet, as the hole....you can have a professional come in and patch it, and it shouldn't cost that much..... |

| Oh that is great news! We do have the exact same carpet the builders left us the extra when they were finished. Well that's a relief, I just graduated from college and just started my job and I'm still working to pay off Lucy! So it is a relief that I can just get the hole patched |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Yes a carpet store should have someone who can repair it. Cali did that to my carpet and we had no extra carpet , but fortunatley we were a few months away from replacing it anyway.

| Yes. I used to work in a store that sold carpeting and it can be done. You can even do it yourself if you are good at things like that. I would cut a perfect small rectangle out of the carpet where she chewed the hole and then using a carpet knife which you can buy at any hardware type store to cut the new piece the same size as the piece you just cut out. Buy some double stick carpet tape and cover the place with it was before sticking down the new piece. Make sure your nap is going the same way as the entire carpet and that should do it. Hope that helped you out. |

| I just notice Oliver chewed a hole in a quilt my deceased grandma made me. I should've known better than to have it on my bed. Sounds like they can fix it for you... Good deal.

| Both my dogs have chewed up my carpet. My Yorkie has chewed a two by two whole (all the way down to the plywood floor).
