| Won't go potty without me. Frustration! First, my puppy rarely goes to the bathroom without me being outside. If I go inside she barks and doesn't go!?!? I try and leave her outside alone and all she does is bark and I am scared the neighbors will get mad. Second, if we are playing outside she won't go potty but the minute we go inside, she goes on the carpet!?!?!?!?!?! Any ideas? |

| I have a 4 year old yorkie and a l year old yorkie. Neither one of them will go outside with their daddy. I have become their unofficial potty buddy and they will not go out without me. Alyssa is getting pretty good with her pottying but Emmy will go out and smell every thing in the back yard. She will then come inside and potty.....She has no clue why we go outside.

| trying teaching them to go when told .. go out with them and say ok go potty and keep saying it and then when they out side give them a treat only if they go and tell them good boy/girl. If you do this every time they will be able to get the hang of it. And if they go inside tell them No Potty and take them out side and say Potty and wait till they go and repeat. I don't let mine out alone anyway to many halks and such here. I just saw one the other day and it flew so close I felt the wind from it's wings. |
