| Pee pad location HI, our Kirby will be 3 mos when he arrives in about a month. I was wondering if it is okay to have more than one pee pad , or to move the pad as needed. At night he will be in our room, so may need one there. Then during the day , the house has two areas blocked off from each other...so I was hopeing I could have one in each area. I will be in the areas with him. Thank you . |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | With Cali I had one on her playpen and one at the other end of the house. Then when I got Pixie she wasn't trained at 13 months so I put pads all over my room to try and get her trained. She preferred to go in a different area then Cali so now I have 4 pads out and it's a bit much. I would try and have her trained to one place and maybe one other spot during training so you can run her there quickly when she looks like she has to go. Good luck!

| I have 3 pads out. One in the family room, one in the kitchen and one in the computer room. Mine tend to like their own.

| 2. my house is 3 levels..the lvg room, kitchen (her pen), is on level one..the basement is dwnstairs naturally.. and the bedrooms and bathrms are upstairs...we have a gate blocking the upstairs area and another gate leading to the basement. so I have a pad in her pen and one other in the living room..she uses the lving rm pad all day when she's out of her pen. and the pad in the pen at night. she's really good with peeing only in those spots.

| We have 2 One in the hallway bath & one in the entry area from kitchen to garage. They use the one in the bath the most...... more privacy!

| The idiot that I am got Bella trained on a pee pad...but I put it in front of the entrance way to the kitchen. You literally have to jump the pad to go in the kitchen. And if you try to move the pad she pees where it used to be.

| I am having a hard time with my little Rocco. I also have a toy poodle..I am wondering if I need to have a pee pad for each of them. It appears to me that once Rocco uses it Sami won't and vice versa. I told my husband that maybe it was b/c one won't pee where the other has "marked" their spot...any suggestions/comments? First time post!!! |

| I think when they are young and just training they need to have piddle pads where they can visually see them. As they get the idea I found that I could eliminate some. Taylor now has 2 piddle pads. He used to have more but now he has adjusted to just 2. I put them on tile floors instead of carpeted areas because sometimes it can run off the pad. He doesn't like to use the pad if it already has a tinkle spot on it, even a tiny spot.... He actually will show me the pad so I can change it for a fresh one. Needless to say... even though he is our only dog...we go through a lot of Piddle Pads! |
