| My yorkie is nasty My one year old yorkie is aggressive with everyone other than family members, he barks at people, other dogs, cars, bikes and anything that makes a noise when i walk him, i can't work out if he's scared or just angry, he's been neutered which hasn't made any difference, he attacks his brother and can't be trusted with our new puppies i really want to put a stop to this behaviour please help! |

| Sounds like it would be helpful to get the assistance of a professional trainer or, even better, an animal behaviorist.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I wish I could help...I don't think they actually have anger but he may be so excited maybe that causes the barking ?? Sounds like you could go to some training classes with him and see if that helps ?? |

| I do believe they do that because they are scared of strangers, noises etc......... I would reccomend taking him for walks at the park where there are lots of people & dogs, eventually he will get over it. He needs to be socialized more. HTH.....God Bless |

| I agree that your pup is not angry but most likely scared. Also, they become very protective of their family at this age, and need socialization. If he is small in size and on the lease, it frightens them even more. Be patient. Good luck.
