| Constantly peeing on bed.. I thought I'd share with Yorkietalk about this current situation that my friend is in, although she doesnt own a yorkie. You all give excellent advice so I figured that this will be the best place to get the proper answer. My friend has a 7 month old female pomeranian that is always peeing on her bed, at least a few times a week. Her dog will be sleeping on the floor and then will jump onto her bed and pee while looking at my friend. Why is she doing this? We've searched all over the internet and cannot find out why she is doing this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

| I don't really know, but it sounds like the dog is showing who the pack leader is. First thing I would do is NOT let her on the bed, no matter what. Even if you launder the bedding, the dog is still going to be able to pick up the scent, which makes it even worse... |

| How can my friend go about allowing her on the bed without her peeing on it? I told her to not allow her on the bed, but she really wants her pom to sleep with her. It's so weird because she will just stare at you while she squats and pees. My friend has tried disciplining her and has also tried to ignore her. Neither of those methods work. |

LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | Tell your friend to not let her pom sleep with her for a couple of days and I think the pom will know what she's doing wrong and will stop. If she still allows her to sleep with her while she's doing this then she won't be able to stop it.
