| Can't they just get along?? Sophie is our Yorkie (born Dec 21st) and Bosley (almost 3) is our Pug. I've heard that the dog who was there first usually bosses the newest dog. This is not so with Sophie and Bosley because although Sophie is a puppy she still runs the roost. She harasses him and he basically takes it. Every once in a while he will pin her down, swat her away or nip at her but other than that he takes her harassment. For example, the other day Bosley went down the deck steps first and Sophie jumped from second to the last step and landed on his back like a flying squirrel in attach mode. It was hilarious to see but I felt bad for Bosley. I separate them if it gets too fierce or if one of them yelps. Will this pass? Are they just playing? What do I do to help them get along? |

| Benji and Bella play like that too. I just let them do it. Neither of them seem to be hurting each other. I think yorkies are a lot hyper than other dogs and that is what seems to be the case for you. Hope everything turns out but I wouldn't worry about it unless your pug starts to growl and get mad when your yorkie goes by him.

| I love Yorkie personality! They really think they are the boss of everypuppy!! I think Sophie is just trying to establish a alpha role and seems Bosley doesnt really care so I'd just watch and make sure no one takes it too seriously. Girl Power!
