| Help! Chewing up everything! Hello everyone, I recently got Piper and she is about 4-5months old. I understnad she is a puppy and her previous owner said she was paper trained. However, she continues to poop right in front of our front door. Ive had dogs all my life but ive had big dogs such as chow/hound dog mixes. They all go to the bathroom outside but piper doesnt. I want to know how to train her to poop on paper and how to discipline her correctly when she doesnt. Also, she just recently started to chew on our living room furniture. This wouldnt b such a big problem if the furniture was mine. It belongs to our roommates and she only does it when no one is watching. If ANYONE can give me any tips on either problem i would b forever grateful. Thanks so much!! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | OOH MAN! Potty training and teething ... the two WORST Yorkie puppy trials. (At least they were for us.) It's the one thing that makes me bristle at the idea of getting a baby baby. We got some kind of bitter-tasting spray to discourage the chewing on things he shouldn't be. And, we got a Nyla-bone and some hard, hard, hard, rubber toys that managed to survive the entire teething process. Good luck! |
