| My pups stay in an ex-pen when I go to work. I purposely moved closer to work before I got them so I could come home on my lunch hour. So, they are alone 4 hours in the morning and another 4 in the afternoon.

| mine are usually home 3-4 hours at a time... I keep 2 gated in the kitchen and 2 gated in the living room. I cannot let Tootie and Hope stay together alone cuz the T-Man gets too rough with Hope and she has no idea he is 4 times bigger than her.. LOL

I have his bed, blanket, potty pad, water, food and toys with him. he is sometimes home for only 4 hours and other times 11 hours. I cant always get home for him. he does fine and I give him lots of love when i get home. |

| I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment and what i do is leave her in the living room and kitchen, all the other doors (bedroom, office, bathroom) stay closed and she does fine with it. She's alone on average about six hours but she has been alone up to 11 hours. I will admit i have no idea what she does while i'm gone, but i've never had a problem with her being destructive and i make sure there's nothing around for her to get into. |

| Buddy, now 3, has had the run of the condo since he was 1yr old. Before I kept him gated (2gates, one on top of each other) in the kitchen. He never went potty in the house. He is alone for 8 1/2 hrs |
