| I have a question on the size of the crate for our yorkie babies...how small is your crate???? Even the smallest ones I have seen are too big for our young yorkies. What partition do you put in to make it smaller?

| The partition that I use is 2 SHOE BOXES on their side, and I have it covered up with a fleece blanket. We borrowed ours, so I think when I buy mine, I will get a smaller size, because I am not sure my 3 pound yorkie is going to get a whole lot bigger (maybe 4 and possibly 5 lbs, but I doubt bigger than that), but sometimes my guy goes above the shoe boxes.......there is about a 3 in. air space, and he likes to get up there sometime if he is sleeping and it's too bright |

| I think the information found on this page is also pretty good Dog Potty Training | How to House Train Your Dog I do agree it's really important to make the space in their crate pretty small. Thanks for the tip on the shoeboxes. That should work great! |
