| WHEN THEY GO ON THE CARPET oops sorry bout the caps, soak up alittle w/the pad then show the pup carpet bad, pee pad good, then clean the carpet & put the pad where they went. & keep doing that until they lear. Alot of them will not go #2 on them or at least not on the same one. Good luck. We use them. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I highly recommend the Jump Start pads you can get at Petsmart or online and they work so well. Cali learned in 2 weeks at 9 weeks of age and when Igot Pixie 3 weeks ago she was 13 months and use to being in a pen with newspaper, no housetraining. After a few days of newspaper everywhere in my room I started her on the Jump start pads and so far she has ony had 2 accidents. She even runs to them during the night is he has to go. I give her a special little treat and say good girl potty on the pad.

| The potty pads worked great for Snickers. He is already trained on them and its only been 2 weeks. Everytime he had a accident on the floor I would bring him right on the pad and say "go potty go potty" and he just started going on them. The only thing is, is that he doesnt go #2 on the pads. But he does great going #1 on them. Now the problem that we are having is that he thinks they are a toy and runs around the house with them in his mouth LOL. Sorry sometimes its better to laugh then get upset at him....Hope all works for you...Remember when he goes on the floor bring him right to the potty pad and give him a comand....Good Luck..... | Heres my advice... This is the only thing that finally worked with wookie, after over a year of him peeing alllllll over the place alllllll the time. we put a leash on him at all times, and whereever we were... we attached the leash somewhere close to us. For instance in the living room we put the leash on the coffee table.. As soon as we saw that he needed to go.. cause you can just tell, we took him outside and told him to go potty and he did... eventually we made the leash longer and longer to give him more freedom, and then we taught him the doggy door and he was golden after that (3 months of work total probably). Because she would be right there in front of you, you can see her the second she tries to pee on the carpet.. so if she tries, jsut say say no right away and take her outside instantly... then clean up the pee. |
