| peeing on nana;s bed Sunnie only pees on my moms bed. he will be outside for 30 mins and then come in and pee on her bed. its getting quite annoying .... were running out of clean bed linnin for her bed. lol he doesnt do it to my bed but that might be cause i keep my door shut. i tell my mom to keep her door shut but its hard to get itno a new habbit. is there anything i can do? there is another male in the house but he is nutured and Sunnie isnt. Duke( my moms male) sleeps in that bed and i dont think it is nice of Sunnie to "claim" dukes bed when Sunnie has his own( mine).

| Keep the door shut or use a baby gate.

| It does sounds like Sunnie is marking "his" territory since he smells Duke's scent there. Unfortunately, I don't have any advice other than perhaps trying belly bands while in the house. Good luck!!

| My Pinky did that, we cought her in the act and she got in big trouble, I held her by the scruff and told her what a bad girl she was, then I crated her for 2 hours, let her out and would not give her any attention for another hour, she never did it again. |

| I did not hold her in the air by the scruff, geez. She was still on the bed. I would not let my child pee on my bed, knowing good and well it's wrong, why would I let a fully house trained dog get away with it? |

| First of all I was talking more about the crate for 2 hours as a punishment. I have been taught never to use a crate as a punishment. |

See, I never used a crate, it was just there, I never crate trained them, it was given to me. They have free roam of the house even when I am not home, because all they do is go in my bed and wait for me. So it was more like a time out. It was either that, or hubby would have made the bedroom off limits to the dogs. | |

| peeing on nana's bed I had this problem with my Yorkkie. He peed in my bed I think 3 times and in my sister's bed twice. I scolded him all 5 times, but he just stopped. He used to be able to sleep in our bed, then when he peed in our bed, we started putting back in his crate at night to sleep. Then after a week, I couldnt stand it anymore and I figured Ill see what happens if I let him sleep with us again. he didnt pee! I was sooo happy! So now, Dunks is taking half of the bed and the other half is for me and my bf... HAHAHAHAHAH |
