| need help with transition from pad to outside hi everyone i have followed the advice of you guys and i have got my baby to pee on his pee pads faithfully but only becuase he is gated in the bathroom he has no where else to go, but now what do i do? how long should he be in the bathrrom going on the pads before i give him a few more inches or maybe take the gate down and gate my bedroom door and see if he still goes in the bathroom, or will he go on my bedroom floor? also how do i start to transition to where he can come back out and play with us and still know where to go? thanks soo much you guys i would be sooooo lost with out this site and all of you wonderful people ok wonderful friends

| i have a wee pad in one place in the house and another outside on the deck. she knows now where both are and if she is outside she goes on that one and inside on the other.... i would keep both, but get a pad holder so it doesnt blow away outside.....and give it time, they will learn.. they are very smart little babies
