| Puppy Trainer Bailey and i just had a visit from the puppy trainer and it was great....very glad I decided to do it. Bailey has learned to heel, sit, drop and come in one session (and is now sleeping soundly) and Mummy has learned how to clean ears, clip nails and be the alpha dog Very worthwhile investment! |

| How nice the trainer comes to you! I may look around to see what is offered here like that. I did call Petsmart and they have a series of Puppy Education classes for $99 (8 one hour sessions) but I wonder how much you learn in a group. I am afraid Ben is already in charge and I need to learn that Alfa Dog role fast.

| She is a smart little thing...and SO cheeky. I think it was pretty easy to teach her to come and heel cause she always wants to be with me. Now she sits in front of the cupboard where i keep the yogurt drops and looks at me pleadingly Had her outside in the courtyard this morning playing and I put a grate in front of the stairs so she couldnt get under the house....she squeezed thru it...have no idea how the bars are only about 5 cms apart! |

Just walking a dog every day, and making sure it stay on your side 100% of the time, is a great mental outlet for the dog (it takes concentration for the dog to match your pace) and defines the human as the leader from the dog's POV. | |
