| Once they crate train in the little crate do you get a bigger crate so run around in more or just leave them in the small crate you trained them in? Gracie has finally got it I think. Do I increase the crate size? |

| The crate should be just big enough for them to stand up, turn around and lay down, and stretch out. I bought a bit larger crate than what Gracie needed, but it came with a removeable divider so I can use the same crate as she grows.

| Yes I got Loki a larger crate once he was crate trained. And I got a mattress and crate cover and everything. We got one a couple sizes bigger so he has some room.

| Good Luck I just extended Little Bit's crate with an x pen and so far that is working. At night, I close the crate door and during the day time if I will be out for awhile, I allow her run of the xpen and keep food & water out for her. She never has accidents in her crate or x pen but sometimes if I'm not watching, she will do a #2 elsewhere in the house. |

| At what age approx do you think one should allow more room in the crates? Cooper is almost 5 months and does not have any accidents in the house (knock on wood it cont) and is only "locked" in the crate at night. Have been considering taking out dividers and putting his dog bed in there to sleep....what does everyone think? |

| I have a small crate for at night and a bigger one for the day time if I go out...He doesn't go potty in either crate. He is almost 7 months now. I think I got the bigger creat about 5 months.

| She is almost a year so I guess I will look into a bigger crate and see how it goes. |
