| Potty free Solution Hello yorkie lovers!! I havent posted before, but I have read the threads (which have been useful by the way) anyhow.. I have a huge potty problem, my yorkie has potty-ed EVERYWHERE.. I have scrubbed all the spots away, I even bought a $375.00 steam cleaner.. in hopes the pee smell will be gone and he will stop. I caught him going again .. my husband and I fight alot because he insists on punishing him and spanking him. My question is.. is there a solution that really works that will keep Sammy from peeing? I am scared my husband will want to get rid of him PLS HELP!!! |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | First of all, how old is your baby? You should really confine him to a small area with puppy pads/newspaper until he understand where's he's suppose to go...kitchen, bathroom. Try that first. It can be VERY frustrating for everyone especially your little baby who is new and probably just as confused as you are. Also, take him out frequently...every 1-2 hours and praise him for going potty outside. Good luck! |

| How old is your little guy? Is he neutered yet? May be you could try a belly band while he is inside. Do you think is marking?

| I'm not sure how to potty train because my little goober still isn't 100% potty trrained yet. But, I found a solution to get rid of the smell by looking through some old posts here! It was shared with us my our member rosenberry. As everyone who's tried it has said that it works pretty well to get out the pee-pee smell! I hope it works for you if you decide to try it! I thought I'd post this for everyone,,, I worked great,,, on cat urine spots I had,,, Thought it would be worth a shot for you with Puppy spots... 1. bottle hydrogen peroxide (normal size) 2. teaspoon dawn dish soap 3. tablespoon baking soda And if you figure out a way to train them easy, please let us in on it! |

| Don't have the time I am currently working two jobs and my Benni who prior to his OD and hospitalization was 100% trained had a relapse. I don't have the time to mix and measure and I rent so I needed something quick, easy and that works. In petsmart I found a product that has no overpowering cleaner smell, works wonderfully and removes everything! I even had an old ink stain on my sand colored carpet that was MONTHS old and that I had tried everything on and no luck. this product is called GET SERIOUS EXTRACTOR What I like about it is you just drizzle it on the stain, swish the solution through the stain with a small scrub brush and place a clean towel or cloth on top of it. Wait a few minutes, remove the cloth and stain and STAIN and SMELL is gone! I had a very good blazer that I had taken to three cleaners, washed twice and then placed it in water and this stuff, the blazer is better than new. I swear by this stuff, it can be found online also and is about the same price with the shipping as it is at Petsmart. I swear by this stuff, never missed with it. |

It is the same thing,,,and they are getting 4.99 a shot,,, HA and Im giving it away! Try it first,, you will be surprised,,, doesnt get much cheaper than peroxide, dish soap and baking soda... try it!

| Do you pour and saturate the area that smells of pee, or do you put the mixture in a spray bottle and just mist the area????? My hallway is starting to smell really bad. |

| Nature's Miracle Have you tried Nature's Miracle? Everyone that has recommended it to us SWEARS by it -- the vet, the pet store, fellow dog owners! It gets rid of pee and poop odors and also eliminates the scent so puppy won't go in the same spot. You can use it on hardwood floors and carpet. If you're using it on carpets/rugs, test it first and if using on hardwood floors, spray it on and wipe it off right away b/c the floor will absorb it if you let it sit. It comes in spray and larger bottles and it doesn't stink! (I first heard about it through friends that own a Newfoundland -- he had lots of accidents on their carpet and you could never smell a thing when you went to their house!) Good luck and keep us posted! Mojito & Irmi |
