Food passive!! We talk a lot about our dogs being food aggressive - but I have the opposite problem. I have a nearly six-year-old Bichon and a one-year-old Yorkie. And, every since I brought my Yorkie home when he was 8 weeks old ---the Bichon has given him everything.....food, toys, whatever! And - my Yorkie isn't aggressive at all either. He just gets it all because Louie gives it to him or lets him have it. He (the Yorkie) is sweet and would let any dog eat out of the same bowl with him at the same time. But Louie would never do this. He just sits and waits or goes in the other room and comes back later. Louie, my Bichon, will beg for food and then sit and wait for the Yorkie to eat first (even though they have separate bowls) When they both get a treat - he lets the Yorkie have them both. ****** And - this is a problem sometimes.....because I know Louie is hungry and want him to eat too. So, sometimes I take the Yorkie into another room or hold him so that Louie will eat. Or I feed Louie in another room or outside, so he won't let the Yorkie have it all or have to wait. I have two totally nonaggressive dogs - but one is just tooooooo sweet. We can't win, can we! Carol Jean Carol Jean

AWWWWWWW Louie is just a sweet sweet dog. I think I would much rather have a passive and sweet sweet dog like Louie than an agressive one. He sounds like such an angel!

Louie you are a sweetheart. What a gentle pup he is. I have never read a sweeter story. You are lucky to have him. He sounds like one in a million.
