| My Yorkie Doesn't Listen to me!! My Peanut is 10months old. We got him when he was 3 months old. Ever since we've had him my husband has done most of the correcting. When my husband is not around Peanut is constantly getting into stuff and going into stuff he wouldn't dare get into if my hubby was around. My husband can just look at Peanut the wrong way and he behaves..I wish it was that easy for me! He listens to me with some stuff but I think it's kinda late for me now..It's driving me crazy! Any suggestions?? |

| We have the opposite problem in our house. They all listen (most of the time) to me and not my husband or son. I think most have a mind of their own anyway, but ya gotta love 'em.

| Chachi and Jewels used to just listen to my Husband so I got involved in training with them and now they listen to us both. I also take them on two walks a day that also helps because they got used to taking direction from me

Donating YT 11K Club Member | yea I think you should feed him and be the one to give him treats when he does something good, so he knows you are in control. My Cavalier (RIP) used to listen to my dad with just a look he gave him, but not to me :/ I don't know maybe it's also the deep voice |

Didn't they always behave when Daddy was around? That is because we were very lax with them and no different than with our pups. You have to be, at all times, stern when they are misbehaving, not only when you are really annoyed. That is the difference between mommy and daddy. I know how easy it is to scold and then pick up and give kisses because you feel guilty. Believe it or not "AND THEY KNOW IT" Mommy's are too mushy.LOL | |

| Mine listen to me and my husband. However Chance is not so great about the command "come". Neither of my boys listen to our teenage children.
