Pooh eating stopped, question also Yesterday I started putting some elcheapo Dollar General Store meat tenderizer on her food, and also finished switching her to Royal Canin Puppy food. This morning about 4am, took her out of her crate, and put her into the kitchen with her food. When I got back up there was poop in several places on the pee pads, and didn't look like she'd attempted to eat any. If she had, wouldn't be any poop left, lol. So looks like the meat tenderizer is working on the poo eating!!! Now I just need to know how long to keep using it!

I got the 50 cent meat tenderizer from Dollar General store. The brand is "Clover Valley". I sprinkled it on top of her food like I was salting mashed potatoes is the best description I can give. There is ONE brand of tenderizer, that has something in it, that you don't want to get!! Someone replied to a post yesterday, and I forgot what it was, but can kill your dog. She said the brand, and what it was that was in it. So find that post using search, or going through this forum, see what it is. Most dollar stores do carry spices for about 50 cents each, but you don't get the "huge selections" like in a grocery store.

I have poop tasters too! I have tried EVERYTHING... ACCENT Forbid Deter Spinach Zuccinni Pineapple STOP - by Solid Gold Hot sauce on and in the poop Hot horseradish on and in the poop Bitter apple on the poop I have had no luck at 100% stopping the habit! They are much better though, they are only 'tasters' rather full meal eaters I just try to get it first. I kinda know the pooping time and signals...they smell each others butt, I guess the poop is right there, then I know - it's coming soon. Then when they do poop, I PRAISE and PRAISE and give a SPECIAL TREAT (after we pick up the poop and flush it ) GOOD LUCK!
