| Adopting older yorkie I am adopting a three year male yorkie named Leo. He is a great dog, knows tons of tricks such as sit and stay come and so forth, is completely house broken from what i have seen andbeen told. But my worries are when I bring him to my house the first day if he will relapse out of those things he knows, like the potty training and so forth. Any advice and what i should do? Any advice is welcomed thank you for all of your time and have a nice day. |

| At first, I would treat him like you would a puppy. Take him outside quite often and when he potties appropriately, give him yummy treats and loads of excited praise. Keep an eye on him at all times and hurry him outside if you catch him going inappropriately. If it were me, I'd contain him in a small non-carpeted area when I couldn't watch him - just until you feel like you can trust him, of course.
