Chewing up the baseboards, door frames......bitter lime? My little angels (devils) keep chewing up all the baseboards and door frames in the laundry room when we are not home. Yesterday I put some bitter lime on the door frames, baseboards. Tonight I caught one of the little (devils) I mean angels chewing on the frame so I put more bitter lime on and guess what, she loves it, she was licking it off like I gave her a treat. UGH!!! All the baseboards and corners are being chewed to death. Anyone have any ideas on what to use or do? And yes, they have chew toys!!!

I used bitter apple spray when Lucy was a pup. It worked for us. But I'm sure some dogs like that too.

| Clear deodorant! Works like a charm and lasts longer than the sprays.

What kind of clear deodorant? And isn't there something in there that might make them sick if they choose to eat it? I mean after all she loves the bitter lime!!!

Any kind of clear solid roll-on should work.

I went to Walmart and got some "glides on clear, Suave, 24 hour protection, fresh". So far so good, but its been only 2 days. She tried to lick it, I suppose seeing if she could chew on anything. She must have decided not to chew on anything now. I put it on all the furniture in the dining/kitchen area, cause she climbs out of her pen at night. Like I said, only been like 2 days, but so far so good, and really reasonable!
