| jealousy - need advice I have two 8 month old babies. (from different litters) One I had first for a few months, then added the second about two months ago. Lately, the new addition has been getting very jealous and more aggressive. She always buts in when I'm petting or grooming my first pup. She growls and tries to get her away from me whevever she can. She growls and wrestles her when she comes in from outside or they come out of their kennels. Any ideas of what I can do? I want to handle it now before it gets any worse. My first one just wants to be friends and play and the second does play but it usually turns more aggresive on her part. She is also smaller - about 3-4 lbs smaller. Any advice???? Thanks, omega |

| I would try to make having the other pup around A Good Thing for the newer addition. When you are petting or grooming the other pup, toss treats to the naughty one - as long as she is behaving. Watch your timing. You want to start doing this before she starts acting aggressive at all. Stop the instant that she acts like she is getting bothered. Good luck!
