| ARGH Agility night VENT! Oh I got soooo annoyed at agility tonight. We have to show up a little bit early to set up the equipment. EVERY TIME it is the same four people who come early and set up 99% of the gear while the rest of the class show up just in time for the class to start and they might put a pole on a hurdle or something *strenuous* like that. THEN I was trying to practice on the A frame because Dougal's not very good on it and this STUPID woman with a STUPID gun dog just keeps using it - doesn't look to see that no one else is still on the other side before sending her dog over it. GRRRRR In fact all the people who didn't set up any of the gear were hogging all the gear during the practice time. But on the plus side Dougal did a six pole weave! WOO HOO!! (for those who don't know the weave is our achilles heel!) Dougal also did everything he had to do. THEN we have to put all the equipment away after Dixie's class and of course the people that P*ss me off with the dogs that aren't under control and are just BARK BARK BARK BARK the whole time are the one's who all just B*gg*r off at the end of the class and don't help! Grrr And in Dixie's class the instructor set up the channel weave (that's two rows of poles with bars to keep the dog in between the poles) so far apart (about a foot) that I don't think Dixie even realised she was doing the weave despite me asking her to put them close together. (Never mind that the bar is higher than Dixie anyway!) Poor little Wee got freaked out by the table cos it wobbled when she leapt onto it. Then the rest of the lesson she was pretty distracted. Then she saw the long jump and wasn't having a bar of it! So now I'm gonna have to build a long jump to get her used to it. Maybe I'm just crabby cos I didn't wind up eating until 9.15 tonight. So I said SOD the diet and ate a whole Aero bar for dessert. But on the plus side the diet's working. I've lost 5kg (sorry I dunno what that is in lbs but it's more than Dixie weighs!) and all my work trousers don't fit any more! I have to roll over the waist to stop them falling down or the hem dragging on the ground. Thanks for reading my rant. I just had to get it off my chest.
