| Why Poop!!???!! Cindy is 8 weeks old. I've been potty training her to pee on the weewee pads. So far she has peed on them unless she's on top of my bed and can't get down. The problem is that she pees on it but won't do poop on it. Why does she get the pee part and not the other??? |

| By the way.. i use a special training liquid that you spray on the pads. the liquid smells like pee to them so it helps her realize that that's the right place to pee. i wonder if there's a poop smelling one??? lol |

| It has been my experience that they will not, for some reason, pee in the same spot as they poop. You might try using two. My boys go out side but my girls use the pads. They like to have two. The girls will poop on the same pad and pee on the same pad but they will not mix the two for some odd reason. Hope that helps.

| 1.Because she is 8 weeks old. She doesn't know she has to poop until 5 seconds before she goes. I bet she pees a lot more often, giving you a chance to start to teach her that. 2.Because dogs like to sniff around for a place to poop. They waddle around before they go. I also agree that they won't poop and pee in the same spot for some reason. Loki won't even do both on the same trip outside - he comes back in and goes back out 5 mins later to do the other.

| Seems like dogs never get their "poop" and "pee" together. Actually, they generally don't do both at the same time -- and probably think of them as two entirely different things they are doing ---which they are! Carol Jean |

| I still have problems with mine pooping on the pee pad. Maybe becuase they Know it's called a pee pad. They would rather poop on the bathroom floor next to it. At least we are in the right room.

| Same thing is happening to me. My Timmy pees on the pad and never makes a mistake but will not poopoo on the pad. He always waits until I turn my back and poos in the kitchen on the rug I have in front of the sink. When I get home today I am going to lay another pad down and see how that goes. Timmy's Mom |

| Josie only pees on her pee pad and she goes poop outside! She won't do both in the same place either!
