| Been waiting ages to post this!!!! I was thinking earlier today, I cannot remember the last time that Smudger did a wee ANYWHERE in the house. Even while at work on his newspapr he never does it anymore. He cocked his leg up for the first time the other day while me and my sisters were walkin him and we all cheered him (even though I prefer it when he sqauts ) I remember reading all the messages saying "my yorkies trained", "my yorkie always wees on pads" etc etc, and I used to get annoyed, thinking Smudger was never gonna do it. So sorry for posting (if you're having trouble training, but it's just such a relief after thinking it would never happen I have a trained yorkie !!!!!! YAY

| triumphant smudge hooray for you Smudge and mommy!! I wish I could say the same thing with two boys and 4 girls, two 5 month old girls, who thank God sleep in my bed with their mom and myself and can hold it from 10:00 p.m. till 6:00 a.m. but during the day it's terrible. My mom is with them, and as much as she takes them out, they will poop and pee whenever they please. Any advise? Last edited by mallky; 04-27-2006 at 04:27 PM. Reason: grammatical mistakes |

Everyone used to say "he will do it soon" or "he's only a baby" but I never believed that he would be trained, which is why I'm so pleased. I do let him out alot though every half hour while I'm at home. and he has 2 walks a day

| Max will go on command as long as I get him outside on time. I am now trying to get him to stop having accidents. Max is only 5 months so I am not too concerned. He has an accident maybe once a week. I just wish he could hold it until we get him outside. Yesterday we didn't put him in his "spot" before bringing him inside. We were outdoors playing but he goes in one area that we have to pick him up and put him in. Not our decision LOL his. |
