| Pee Pads I am thinking about getting a male Yorkie. Where do you get the pee pads? Walmart? Cost? Do you have to toss them every time they use them? How big are they? Also, what do you put them in - a litter pan? I think I need something higher as the male will probably lift his leg. Thanks everyone. Kate |

| walmart is the cheapest ( I think) Hello I bet you can't wait to get your new puppy, as far as the peepee pads, so far I found Walmart to be the cheapest I get 10 of them for less than $5.00 bucks they are Ol'Roy brand they are also pretty larger, sorry I dont have any measurements. I usually change them 3/4 times or more a day..good luck on your new puppy , if you decided to become a Yorkie Mommy.. You will not regret it and like the chips, usually you can't have just one.. |

| I get a bulk (50/pkg) for about $17 at petedge.com. I think they're all the same measurements? I'm not too sure. I put my pads in a plastic frame, which you can also get on petedge. Mason is pretty good about peeing on it over and over, but I usually toss it out everyday after he pees on it 3-4 times. I agree with Princecharlie10! You will fall head over heals for your baby! |

| someone on here posted a link, to get pee pads in bulk... i think it was like 30 dollars for 200 pads...... i get mine at petsmart, they come in a package of 150 for 30 some odd dollars..... toby didnt really keep up with the "you can pee in the house you just have to pee on youre pad" idea so now i put his pee pads out on teh balcony, its working out much better. . . i change my pads once a day |

| I also recommend petedge.com. I got a pack of 100 for around $20. They have a lot of great products at good prices. I change the pads about 3 times a day. We built a little box to put the pad in. Good luck!

| Wow, everyone, thanks a million for all the great replies. I am combining this into one email, as so many people wrote. One more question, do those of you who use pee pads have female dogs? I was wondering how this would work with a male dog? One lady wrote and said they built a box for the pads. I guess this would be my best bet. I was also thinking about putting these pads outside, on my deck, but what happens when it snows? Can I move these into the garage, or house, or will it just confuse the puppy? Thanks everyone. | There are a couple options for the boys. You can put a gallon jug filled with water in the center of the pad for aiming at. Cover it with a pad too. Or, you can get one of those storage containers and cut out one side so they can get in and use it like a litter box with the pad inside. You can move the box to the garage or deck and they should still know what its for when they are older. |
