| Am I spoiling? My Bella is 12 wks (I got her on Sunday) and although she's been sleeping well at night and not crying/whining at all (her crate is half bed, half litter box) she won't sleep during the day unless she's in my lap! If I put her in the crate or in the kitchen (gated) she whimpers and whines and if I leave the room she howls and barks. Loud... VERY loud!!! Her crate at night is level w/my bed (on the nightstand) so she's almost "in bed" with us. I'm wondering if I should try putting on the floor just to get her used to not being so close while sleeping? I'm really behind on housework because I hate to hear her whine and whimper so I sit in front of the TV or computer w/her on my lap. My honey sure is going to be ticked when he comes home AGAIN from work to a messy place! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Oh they need to be spoiled!! Maybe you could try one of those front carriers and carry her around while you do stuff.

| I never had George in a crate (well for about 30 minutes the night I brought him home) so I don't think I am good to answer the spoiled question, but I do have a little insight George was 10 weeks when he came home with me, and for about the first 2 months he was next to me every second, I work from home so I could spend a lot of time with him. Now he is 10 months and he is little Mr. Independent I have to call him at times to come to me because he wanders around the house or goes and lays down on his big sisters bed when he is tired. I think it's all apart of the bonding process you are her new Mommy now, she will get used to it and go off on her own soon. |

| When Jewels was little she liked to be held too so I got a sling carrier and put her in it while I did my housework

| I use a sling carrier with my puppy. It has a harness and strap inside and then a belt that buckles over him. I bought it at www.trixieandpeanut.com. I carry him in it while I do laundry and vacuum. He loves it and usually falls asleep. Jessica |

| If you look up the work "yorkie" in the dictionary - the definition is "spoiled" I don't think I know of a yorkie who is not spoiled...how can we resist?

| for prettypuppypink... Hi, I am in the market for a carrier, is yours the one that looks like a sack with a drawstring top? If so, how old is your puppy? Thanks for the info!
