Newspaper Vs Pee Pads Hi everyone!! Im still trying to train sami, but he still pee's & poo's inside or out seems like it doesn't matter, he just goes! (14 weeks now)I am still giving him his treats for when he goes outside but My question is I have been using newpaper to help for inside training and I was wondering is there a difference with pee pads from newspaper? I have been reading threads in reference how successful pee pads are! could switching from Using newspaper to Pee pads be bennifical or not? thanks

pee pads are specially scented to let your baby know where he is supposed to do its buissness...... also, they are absorbant so when you pick it up they dont leak all over the place, and some pads trap pee odors

I think I might switch, too. I've been using newspaper, but when Frankie pees on it, the WHOLE newspaper absorbs the wetness, and then Frankie doesn't want to step on it again to do #2 right after #1.

louis uses both... at home my puppy uses the wee wee pads. but at work (he comes in everyday with me) i lay out newspaper in my office. he's 5 months and pretty much trained to go on both. only thing is, if people in my office lay down some papers or files on the floor, louis will run over to it and think it's a place to potty!!! he did it to my boss a couple of times, luckily, i didn't get into too much trouble.

The desk drawer for the bed is ingenius!! How fun to have him at work. I take Hefner sometimes too but it's a dental office and sometimes he stil has accidents so I am always a little stressed when he's there and it's hard o work. I can't wait until he's a little older. I think it will be easier then.
