| lifting leg on furniture! help!!!! About three days ago Ceeby decided he should pee like a man and started lifting his leg a little. I hadn't noticed him doing it in the house until last night and he is spraying my sofa and chair and not going on the pee pads at all. i got my carpet pulled up and Congoleum put down yesterday. All three og the dogs have been a little out of sorts. they are doing the 'yorkie slide' all over the place. do you think this is why he is doing it or is it just his age? He is seven months now and feeling his hormones kicking ibn. he keeps my gals clean if you know what I mean. I bought a huge bottle of coke today to make the pee pad pole but can't remember how to do it. I think you put water in the bottle, put a pad under another pad around. is this right and does it work? Any other options? I have never had a male dog before and hadn't thought about this but he is going to be my little stud, I think so I can't have him neutered. Oh and he ran his "little lipstick" out a little tiny bit yesterday and shocked me to death. This male stuff is all new. we have always had spayed girls. |

| I'm am going through this too, I think we waited to long to neuter him and now we have to wait even longer as he is has been losing a massive amount of weight and our vet wants to wait to do the surgery until he is healthier, I bought him a belly band. I feel your pain. |

| My pup is 7 months old and wears belly bands most of the time in the house. He is almost never wet and never smells like pee. He is around me most of the time - I'm constantly playing with him, picking him up, checking him, etc. Everytime, he's the slightest bit damp - I change his belly band. Sometimes it seems like he pees every 15 minutes - and other times, he stays dry for hours. **** I use washcloths for belly bands (and a diaper pin) and have two or three dozen of them - the damp ones just go in with the rest of my wash. **** When I'm not home, my pup is confined to the kitchen and uses a pee pad. He only wears the bellybands when he has run of the house. Carol Jean |

| I use belly bands for my Joey. I made them with Disney and Scooby Doo characters on them, sooo cute!! I buy the Equate brand of panti liners, cut them in half and use them in the belly bands. I change them often and use baby wipes to clean him. He'll be two in July and he's never had any irritation or rash.
