| Transition from pad to litter Hello, I have a 8 month old yorkie and I am attempting to transition him from pee pads (which he does great with) to the litter box. Needless to say, it isn't going so well. Any one have experience with this that could help with some advice?! |

| i trained Toki on wee wee pads for 8 months then switched him to outdoors. Now he will only use wee wee pads inside my home when it's raining because he won't even step out or he will use it whenever i don't open the door. So i think it's better to stick to one until they know 99% before you switch or it just confuses them. |

| was in ur situation... its very simple and u puppy will adjust easily if u get the pee pad put it in the litter box(make sure ur dog pee'd on it already so he/she can become farmiliar with the area, and cover it up with ...what ever ur using..i use newspaper. Then slowly get rid of the pad... always give treats and praise ur pooch when it pees in the potty..till it gets the idea. good luck!! |

| I did like above. I put the pee pad in the litter box and covered it with the litter. A little more each day until it becomes only litter. Took 3 or 4 days.
