| Chewing Things.. Help HI My Bunny-Rose Likes to bite on my hand or her own paw. I have tried the apple stuff and to her it’s like a treat. She just licks it right off my hand or her foot. I have even tried lemon juice and every thing swore I can think of... Also she has a thing for leather. I don’t know why... She NEVER had leather toys when she was little. It seems like no matter how far I put it own of her reach, she still gets to it some how. I have even put chilly power and tobacco on some leather things that she has chewer on and stuck it in her reach. She just licks it off and then starts chewing on the leather again. I have even took the leather or whatever from her that she is not allowed to chew on and said no you don’t chew on this and gave her, her chew bone. Yeah I did that so many times one day she tossed her cookies. I don’t know what else I can do. Dose any one have any suggestions?? Please Help Olivia

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Did you mean Tobacso sauce not Tobacco? Tobacco would be very bad for a dog. Cali is starting to grow out of some of the chewing but maybe yours is teething?

| I think they're chewing and biting for a couple of reasons: 1. They're teething. 2. They're bored. Have you tried Bully Sticks? I give Aggie tons and tons of toys and chew things so that she'd be able to constantly change her toys without getting bored. We keep her toys in a box and take out a couple at a time to "change up". It doesn't HAVE to be a dog toy. For example, when we see signs of her getting bored, don't know what to do with herself, we give her some baby carrots to chew on, or the Bully Stick (that can occupy them for a LONG time!). Good luck! |
