| How long before yorkies are potty trained elsewhere? I'm curious to know, how long is it before your yorkie is accident-free at home, but also accident-free in other people's homes and other indoor areas? |

Loki's great at my parents house, which is really the only other house we ever go to. We went to my aunt's house for Christmas and he was fine, I just showed him where the door was and took him out a lot. He has bells here so I got some for my mom too. He knows where the doors are and will stand by them or scratch. He likes to show off for grandma, she is easier to get treats from! Something tells me it's harder for people who pad-train. Since Loki pees on grass, it feels different than carpet so it's harder to mistake. And it smells way different :-) Oh, he's 14 months.

| Bells Sorry this is a bad picture taken with my camera phone. But, I made bells and hung them next to the door and taught Loki to ring them when he has to go outside. I can't hear him scratch if I'm in another room and I definately can't see him standing there. I love it because I don't have to worry about him anymore - if I'm upstairs and he runs downstairs I don't need to follow him to see if he needs to go out or just wants a toy from his toybox. He will ring if he needs to go out. He knows what ringing the bells means and he knows we will respond to him so he waits for us rather than giving up and peeing on the floor!

| Zoe is potty trained anywhere there is a wee wee pad. As long as he knows where it is, he'll do his deed on it.
