| puppy and bathroom Hey guys, My puppy just came home from the hospital (she had pnemonia) and the doc wants me to put her in the bathroom with warm steam (hot water I am assuming) for 15 minutes. I tried last night adn this morning but all he did was cry and completely freak out. i brought some toys in and even sat with him, but he was shaking and freaking out. any suggestions? |

| We did a similar thing when ours had a cough. She did not really like it, but we wrapped her up in a blanket and put her over the vapors. Then rubbed Vaporub on her chest. When she is wrapped up and tightly held her attempts to get out are foiled. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I had to do that with Cali also, I just sat in there and brought my other dog in as well and she did shake but she got use to it. I did it probably 5 times. Just make sure you have a blanket for her when you come out, it is a big temp difference. I would put the shower in full blast hot and no fan on and it would steam up real good. Iwould take her in after it got steamy.

| How about getting a "warm mist" humidifier and just put it in the bedroom with the door closed? Maybe she would feels more comfortable. It works the same way without the sound of the shower. I did this for my son (real human son) when he was sick. It worked great!!
