| Not sure what I'm doing wrong We had a Morkie and she was very obedient and we had to put her down about 6 months ago after having her for 11 yrs,now we have a Yorkie ( SADIE ) who doesn't come when called,is peeing outside as well as inside and is constantly barking. My wife work and I'm home with SADIE but I'm also disabled so it's very tough so can someone please help so I can start training her the right way cause it's making us crazy ! | Welcome to Yorkie Talk, Rich. Sorry you had to say goodbye to your Morkie. How old is Sadie? Whether she is a pup or older, a general obedience class would be a good place to start. Start training at home every day. Does she know any commands like sit? YouTube videos are a great place to learn how to train. I advocate positive reinforcement training especially for Yorkies. Make training a fun game. My boys respond much better to praise and treats (we use their kibble for rewards). Tell us her age and we can give you more tips.

| Thank You Hi Max and thank you for responding. SADIE will be 6 months old on the 29th of December. She does respond to sit and am trying to clicker train her. My wife got these bells you hang on the doorknob as a way of her telling us she has to go out but we've only had them for a couple of days so she's still kind of intimidated by them. She's very energetic and loving and we do love her and since I'm home I'm tasked with training her. |

| Here is a free online training course that starts with the basics and proceeds onto to some show or competitive type training. I hope this helps some. Introduction | Mind to Mind
