| Pet Corrector Spray Has anyone used Pet Corrector Spray before? I just got it based on my trainer's recommendation. I just have to say it works great. Essentially it is a compressed air spray that makes a sound my dogs do not like. They have been barking and pulling on their leash when walking. Tonight I took them out and sprayed the can when they started to get agitated. This was the first time they stopped barking and would walk right past the other dogs and cats. I sprayed it about 4-5 times during the walk and by the end just showing the can to Boomer he shrank away. Thumper still needed the bottle sprayed though. I am hoping a few more walks and they will get the idea. This gives me hope that they can eventually be around other dogs and I won't have to worry that they will get aggressive. They have their first play date with their cousin Togo this Saturday at Central Park. I can't wait for them to meet. |

| We have used that before, the sentry brand that emits the lavender chamomile spray. Lilah has also developed some issues with other dogs (since she was attacked in July 2014) particularly larger dogs. It is hard for me to find safe opportunities to try out appropriate interactions where she will be able to be kept safe and I can focus on correction of her intense behavior rather than protecting her from another dog- especially since her presentation is at least defensive if not offensive these days- so unfortunately I don't think I have much of a review to offer, we have pretty limited experience actually getting to use it! I'm really glad it is helping you. We have a close buddy maltese we play with and Lilah is getting pretty good at just ignoring like, at the vet etc. a work in progress always I suppose!! I wish you the best

| I bought it because my Pepper goes nuts when I am leaving. It gets his attention helps to stop his nuttiness. I now only need to pick up the can and he sits and gets quiets. I like because it gets his attention when he is out of control. My next use for it is in the car because he goes nuts and attacks my seat belt when I am putting it on for some reason. I have been scruffing him when he does it but it hasn't stopped him. He normally is a pretty calm dog.... |
