| How am I doing? It has been YEARS since I have had a puppy this young. Molly is 12 weeks old. Thankfully her first home started doing potty training. She seems to be really smart and a quick learner. I think. She goes to her pad and pees most of the time but will just cop a squat on the floor too. She won't poop on the pad, not sure why. But heck, her poop is tiny so it's not difficult to clean up. She even finds a spot to tinkle if I put her in the bark dust when it's around time for her to need to go. How am I doing? Any suggestions? |

| Sounds like you are doing a good job training your Yorkie. Maybe you could move them to a pad every time you see them doing the poop dance. It can take a while to potty train them but keep up the good work.

| Thanks. I am used to the whole "long time to potty train" thing. Molly's older brother Milo (dachshund) is 2 and STILL not completely potty trained. My first dachshund took about 3 years to stop having accidents. Some doxie's never house train so, Molly is leaps and bounds ahead of the curve already. |

| Awesome! I had 2 mini dachshunds who were a pleasure to potty train. They learned very quickly but then again I was a stay at home mom and I would take them out every hour. They were house trained within a couple of months. Sounds like Molly is doing a great job. My Remy is strictly pee pad trained. Works out great here in Florida especially when it rains constantly.

| Molly had several successes tinkling on the potty pad today. She pooped on the floor this evening here and at her grandparents place (former owners). Then just now she pee'd on the floor. She's still at about 95% for going tinkle on the pad though. And 5% for pooping on it LOL |
