| Have you taken her to the vet so they can check her out to make sure everything is ok? Especially since you have expressed that this is your first litter. I'm sure there will be others who breed that can answer your questions.

| Stand in attendance with your momma...."she can deliver herself" is great bedside manner conversation, and may indicate the babies will fit through the pelvic ring, , but all it takes is one puppy to get sideways, and the whole shooting match changes! Since this is your first litter, make sure you can recognize when you and momma may need vet help, and have a vet lined up for any assistance you may need, including emergency c-section! Hopefully, your momma will not go into labor for a couple more days, to give those babies more time to grow/develop.....preemies that are a week or more premature are a challenge! |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | She still has time, meanwhile here is a website that may be of some help. She doesn't hold anything back, its all there including videos and pics. Canine Reproduction Video and Book on Breeding and Whelping dogs by Debbie Jensen for dog breeders and Whelping Supplies needed to deliver puppies.
