| Won't Poo Outside or on Wee-Wee Pad HELP! Sadie has recently decided that the only acceptable place to poo is in the hall! She used to go outside, but now even after a 20 minute walk she will not go until we come back inside, then she runs down the hall and goes. I tried putting the poo on the wee-wee pad, then she stopped peeing on the pad as long as the poo was sitting there. When she poos on the floor I take her to the poo tell her "no-no" then take her to the wee-wee pad and say "good-girl". This is what worked for the first part of potty training. What am I doing wrong??? I don't spank or rub her nose in it as I know that is a no-no. Just firmly tell her I do not approve of what she just did and show her where it is acceptable to potty. |

| Try this: Take her for a walk, then go in the house for a few minutes, turn right back around and go back out and see if she'll potty for you.

| If Gunner doesn't poo outside he goes right into his crate till I let him out again, no poo, back in crate. This is working cause he has no where else to go. What he goes outside it is a huge happy party and he gets a treat and playtime.

| Good ideas. I will try that and see what happens. She used to go outside, but suddenly decided that was not the place to go anymore. |

After 3-4 times doing this, she should just start pooing outside while she's out the first time.

| Cody is forgetful also,he uses the back yard, after running around he'll poop then run up the deck steps, I say to him, Cody do pee-pee, then he remembers yeah, right, I did forget something, he'll come running back down the steps and does his pee pee lol.... KJC has a good method, I do think that will work. Good luck
